DeuSens has become the official distributor of these Mixed Reality glasses designed by Bruno Moya. This young student from Barcelona is a budding self-taught programmer since he was 12 years old. During this time, he has developed Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality application projects. His interest in technology, and especially in Mixed Reality, has led him to create his own project: Glassear, a low-cost hologram device that won in 2018 the second prize at the Industry 4.0 professional day of the Galicia Maker Faire.

What is Mixed Reality?

Mixed Reality, the revolution of immersive technology, is the combination of the best aspects of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. Through an MR device, it unifies the experience in a single scenario: reality, and in it physical and virtual objects coexist and interact in real time.

In this way, the real environment is mixed with the potential of being able to create incredible virtual worlds. So the user is not immersed in a completely virtual world either and is still aware of the environment around him. In addition, throughout this experience the natural behavior of the person to interact with objects is reproduced, achieving a much more real and immersive experience.

In order to start enjoying this Mixed Reality experience it will be enough to open the top tab of the MR device to place the Smartphone on the front of the goggle -with the app in question already open-. It is essential that the camera is placed in the opening of the helmet so that it can capture and show the user the real environment around him. The Glassear has a viewing field of 45º vertical and 75º horizontal.

The Glassear Mixed Reality glasses, despite their very basic design, in terms of functionality meet all the requirements that can be expected from the virtual experience combined with reality. In this way, the user accesses a world full of virtual experiences that allow him to interact with real environments, all in an easy and accessible way.
