Virtual Reality is the engine of DeuSens. Thanks to companies in the market, the likes of Facebook, Sony, Microsoft, Samsung, HTC, Valve and Google, we are immersed in the virtual reality revolution, where Hyperexperience is possible.

The market is about to explode, not because we say so, but because of a report by analyst firm CCS Insight. In a study reflects that the sale of AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) devices, will increase to 24 million in 2018 achieving a market value of more than $4 billion. Novel technologies but with huge potential.

Virtual reality and augmented reality devices

In 2016, the two main VR projects will hit the market. Oculus Rift -PC accessory- and Sony's Project Morpheus -PlayStation 4-accessory.

The democratization of virtual reality is a fact with the emergence of the Oculus Rift. But according to the CCS study, 90% of AR and VR devices in 2018 will be similar to the Google Cardboard or Samsung Gear VR. That is, low-cost devices that work with smartphones. They will not need PC or game console for proper operation.

As for augmented reality, the Google Glass project managed to create a lot of buzz in the market. But a very strong rival has emerged: the Microsoft HoloLens Windows. A headset that promises real-world holographic experiences, Skype...

According to the study, AR devices are going to see growth in industrial and enterprise settings. There is going to be a reduction in costs and an increase in productivity. Although they have lost reputation for the first version of the Google Glass.
