Advertising at the point of sale with Augmented Reality

The effective management of POS campaigns or advertising at the point of sale, has been for years, one of the greatest needs to be covered by the brands. In this task, highlighted the figure of the manager of point of sale, being in charge of having to organize the POS campaigns, together with the point of sale, and show those responsible for this how it would the final result of the objects and furniture that were to be placed.
 
And that is where our Augmented Reality app, Alice AR, came in, whose main task was to allow point-of-sale managers to show their POS items catalog, in Augmented Reality, integrating the displays in a realistic way in the real space, and without having to transport them from one store to another, through the simple use of a Smartphone or a Tablet.
 
For this reason, Alice AR proved to be an ideal commercial tool for optimizing the design and creation of POS campaigns. In this way, the brands, after creating the objects and furniture of their POS campaigns in 3D modeling, only had to introduce them into the platform and use the Alice AR app to visualize them in the supermarket space where they would be placed in the future. Thanks to this tool, brands could check at a glance whether the design of the furniture was correct, both in terms of measurements and aesthetics, and thus optimize their POS campaign creation process.
 

Streaming up the creation of POS furniture with Alice AR

Another of the great utilities of Alice AR is not aimed at brands' point-of-sale managers, but at the companies in charge of creating furniture and displays for POS campaigns. In this case, companies that design and build point-of-sale furniture, such as our partner HMY, have found in Alice AR a new way to streamline the design and construction process of displays, saving time and resources in the design, especially in large islands or areas with several displays together.
