Costa Food Group is a meat holding company that is a national benchmark and present in 107 countries. Its commitment is focused on natural products from the origin, starting with the control of animal feed, the care of livestock and the guarantee of food safety at all stages: birth and breeding, cutting, processing and preparation of meat products and charcuterie.

Photogrammetry to show hyper-realistic products

In this project, carried out for Casademont, we used the technique of photogrammetry to capture, from multiple angles, some of their meat products and subsequently be able to carry out the 3D modeling of them, using these captures as a reference and as the main basis for the modeling.
 
Through this process, the 3D models obtained had a much higher image quality, allowing the user to appreciate Casademont's meat products in all their splendor. The final result was so good that we managed to give Casademont's meat products that photo-realistic touch, which made it difficult to distinguish whether they were 3D modeled products or real photographs of the products themselves.
 
This aspect was essential in the realization of this project, since, being food products and even more so being meat products, Casademont wanted to obtain an excellent result, through which customers could appreciate the quality of food, meat and fat of each of the pieces in great detail, this being a new key reason to encourage the purchase, by winning over customers through sight.
 

Augmented Reality to visualize products on the web

Thanks to the advances in immersive technologies generated in recent years, Augmented Reality went from needing software to be visualized, to being able to be used directly in web format, without the need for external downloads. This functionality, which made Augmented Reality content much more accessible to users, was also one of the key aspects of this project and one of the most valued by Casademont.
 
Thus, after carrying out the photogrammetry process and subsequent 3D modeling of Casademont's meat products, we used these generated 3D models to create an Augmented Reality Hyper-experience that all users could view from Casademont's own website, without the need for any external software or download.
 
Through the Augmented Reality HyPEREXPERIENCE, users could view the products recreated through the camera of their own device, integrated into the space in a very realistic way, presented on a wooden board that adapted perfectly to the detected surface, and in which the brand logo could also be seen. In this way, users could rotate the product and turn around it to appreciate all its details and imagine themselves about to cook the product and ready to enjoy the great delicacy that they could appreciate through the screen.
