In collaboration with our partner HMY we developed this Hiperexperience for Grupo DinoSol, the leading supermarket chain in the Canary Islands. It shows its vital commitment to this island region, generating more than 8000 jobs between its SuperDino, HiperDino and HiperDino Express points of sale.

Develop a HyperExperience that helps to bring closer the corporate culture and values of Supermercados HiperDino and gamify the visit to its new exhibition at the Elder Museum.

Use the right language for your audience

Hiperdino, the leading supermarket in the Canary Islands, wanted to get closer to the younger public, conveying their way of working and the values they represent. How did they decide to achieve this? By creating an exhibition at the Elder Museum in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, specifically dedicated to students between 8 and 12 years old from the island's schools. For this reason, I needed a new language adapted to their demanding public, with the challenge of making the exhibition attractive to them.

What better way to get their attention than through the use of new technologies? The Hyperexperience consisted of creating an Augmented Reality app that would expand, through their Smartphones, the experience they were going to live in the exhibition. In this way, we created and animated in 3D the different mascots of Hiperdino supermarkets, making them participate in their visit, telling them data and curiosities about everything they were seeing during the exhibition.

Thus we managed to adapt the language to the required audience, making those who interacted with the children were the friendly mascots of the brand, specifically designed to attract the attention of this type of audience. In addition, the use of Augmented Reality achieved awaken the wow effect, to live that interaction with the mascots of the brand as if it were magic.

Photocall with Augmented Reality

When organizing both fairs and events or even when managing a museum, the first impact is always essential. It is for this reason that a photocall is often placed at the entrance. It is the sure way for attendees not to forget to take a souvenir of the visit.

Why not introduce Augmented Reality in this process and create a unique souvenir, different from a simple photograph, for all attendees? In this case, we included in the Hiperdino supermarket exhibition a photocall with Augmented Reality that allowed children to take pictures with the brand's mascots in a virtual environment, both alone and in groups, allowing them to take a memorable souvenir of their visit to the exhibition.
