As it does every year, CeraVe once again held its now customary exclusive event for influencers and key figures in the world of beauty and skincare. For its 2025 edition, the brand decided to take sensory innovation one step further, integrating cutting-edge technology into an immersive experience developed in a new collaboration between DeuSens and SOMOS Experiences.
The goal was clear: to convey the regenerative power of ceramides, a key ingredient in its products, in an original, emotional, and easy-to-understand way. To do this, a virtual reality experience was created with Apple Vision Pro that allowed attendees to experience firsthand the effect of CeraVe products on the skin through a metaphorical spatial narrative.
Immersive storytelling to explain the power of ceramides
The experience placed the user in a science fiction setting, putting them in the shoes of an astronaut controlling a spaceship. Their mission: to travel through space collecting ceramides and applying them to a severely damaged planet.
As the user collected the ceramides and transferred them to the planet, it began to regenerate, regaining its light, color, and vitality. This transformation represented, visually and emotionally, the effect that ceramides have on the skin by restoring its natural barrier and returning it to balance and health.
The storytelling not only served a symbolic function, but also helped to translate a scientific message into a memorable and understandable experience, connecting directly with the brand's values and reinforcing its position as a leader in dermatological innovation.
Virtual Reality with Apple Vision Pro: the future of brand experience
The experience was developed specifically for Apple Vision Pro, taking advantage of the device's advanced spatial computing capabilities. This allowed us to maximize the technology's capabilities to create a virtual environment with 3D digital content that integrated naturally into the space, creating a complete immersion that encouraged the user to become part of the narrative, feeling like a living part of it, the protagonist of this story.
The use of Virtual Reality offered fluid and precise interaction, allowing attendees to explore, manipulate, and react to digital elements through their own gestures and movements. The entire visual and sound environment was designed to reinforce the narrative and keep the user at the center of the action.
Thanks to this technology, it was possible to generate a highly sensory, immersive, and emotional experience that transformed the product presentation into a unique experience, consistent with the brand's visual and conceptual language.
Results and brand perception: experiences that leave a lasting impression
The immersive experience with Apple Vision Pro had a strong impact on attendees, ensuring that the brand message was internalized through emotion, surprise, and active participation. The concept of ceramides and their effect on the skin ceased to be a technical argument and became a personal experience.
