Standing out at an international event through VR

Connecting to the internet is as important as connecting to people, and Olin Telecom, the renowned internet services company from Malaga, knew this very well.
 
The Solheim Cup was a world-renowned women's golf event that pitted Europe against the United States, the two most prominent and competitive teams in the sport. This year, the prestigious tournament was held in Andalusia, and Olin Telecom not only had the honour, but also the great responsibility of being its official connectivity provider for the entire event, ensuring a flawless and uninterrupted broadcast.
 
In addition, Olin had a stand specially designed for them. Their objective was clear and defined: being an event of international magnitude, their stand not only had to be functional, but it had to stand out, be a reference and capture all the attention of the attendees, both local and international. But how to achieve something so challenging and at the same time essential? The answer was to offer a hyper-experience with Virtual Reality.

Designing a unique immersive hyperexperience

In direct collaboration with Olin, we worked hand in hand to design and execute a hyper-experience that fused the best of VR technology, the essence of golf and the advanced internet services that Olin offers.

Users were immersed in a golf course, and with the help of the controllers, had to choose a golf club and hit the ball into the hole. As the ball was driven into the hole, it triggered a fascinating visual journey: users moved at high speed through the fibre optic cables, culminating their adventure in the majestic Finca Cortesin, the actual setting where the prestigious golf event was held.

Not only did we capture the essence of the sport in an immersive way, but we also highlighted the speed and efficiency of Olin's fibre connections.

This one-of-a-kind, customised experience reflected the innovative essence of Olin, and positioned the Malaga-based company as a leader in its sector during the event. Thanks to this strategy, Olin achieved
