Telefónica is a multinational telecommunications company that currently operates in 13 countries and has a presence in 24. It is a company that is sensitive to the new challenges demanded by today's society, working with an innovative spirit and focusing on its technological potential to offer the best solutions for improving communication between people.
GOAL ACHIEVED
Showcase the capabilities and functionalities of The Brain platform in a much more visual and experiential way through the use of an interactive capacitive touch table.

Interactive installation to discover The Brain experience

After launching The Brain, Telefónica's comprehensive technology platform for managing and transforming commercial, relational, and experiential spaces, the Telefónica Tech division sought a different, more experiential way to showcase and present its features and possibilities. The goal was clear: to move away from traditional technical discourse and offer visitors to its corporate space at La Cabina a more understandable, visual, and memorable way to learn about the platform's features.

To achieve this, Telefónica entrusted DeuSens Hyperexperience as its technology partner to develop an interactive installation that would translate the key concepts of The Brain into a tangible experience. The result was an interactive table with touch capabilities, advanced sensorization, and object recognition, whose content was designed and developed to turn the exploration of the platform into a playful, informative, and intuitive journey.

 

Using the interactive table to understand the platform

The installation was built around a capacitive touch table equipped with sensors capable of detecting pressure, movement, rotation, and the presence of physical objects. Through the use of specific beacons, users could activate digital content simply by placing items on different areas of the table.

These beacons were used to display interactive, visual, and explanatory content representing each of The Brain's functional axes, showcasing its different capabilities: IoT data integration, real-time analysis with Big Data, automation through Artificial Intelligence, and centralized device control.

This physical-digital interaction made it possible to structure an understandable narrative that translated the intangible into the visual and the technical into the interactive, making it easy for any user, regardless of their profile, to understand how The Brain connected processes, data, and technologies in a single comprehensive system.

 
Interaction to communicate complex technological solutions

Beyond the technological component, the experience was designed to generate engagement, curiosity, and discovery. The possibility of “playing” with the beacons and seeing how each action triggered new layers of content transformed the installation into an effective communication tool.

Thanks to this approach, Telefónica was able to communicate the functionalities of its platform in a more emotional and accessible way, moving away from a static or verbal presentation format. The installation promoted better retention of information, greater interest in discovering the entirety of The Brain platform, and brand recall reinforced by the novelty of the experience.

This format of interaction demonstrated that even complex technological solutions can be explained in an accessible and attractive way, if the right tools are used.

 
Innovation that connects with the user

The interactive installation developed by DeuSens provided Telefónica with a unique way to present The Brain, aligned with the very essence of the platform: a comprehensive, visual, accessible, and connected solution.

Transforming a digital platform into a physical experience allowed its value proposition to be conveyed with greater impact and clarity. Visitors not only received information, but also explored it for themselves, interacting and understanding through action.

This initiative established itself as an example of how interactive technology can improve the communication of complex products, generate interest in corporate environments, and reinforce the perception of an innovative brand. In an environment increasingly saturated with information, creating experiences that connect is key. Telefónica made it possible with The Brain, and DeuSens transformed it into a real experience.
