GOAL ACHIEVED
To introduce Virtual Reality to the general public, discovering its advantages and infinite possibilities.
The birth of Hyperexperiential events
Zaragoza witnessed the ability of technology, and more specifically Virtual Reality, to alter people's perception and create impossible situations in the world. We conceived the event "Real or Virtual: will you feel the difference?" as an opportunity to raise awareness of Virtual Reality and show its potential to society.
In addition, we decided to take advantage of this magnificent event to make the attendees live and feel magical situations, which allowed them to appreciate the infinite possibilities that this technology offers, managing to eliminate the barriers between the real world and the virtual and making them unable to discern between what is virtual and what is real.
The perfect symbiosis between reality and fiction
Virtual Reality allows us to create imaginary realities and teleport users to any real or fictitious place. But in this case, we did not want to move the attendees to another place, that was not the goal. The Hyperexperience consisted of an illusion in which we altered the very space where the event was taking place.
How did we achieve this? Using 360º video technology, we captured from all possible angles the space where the event took place with the intention of altering it later through post-production processes, which were carried out in collaboration with our friends at Rush VFX.
In this way, when users put on the Virtual Reality glasses, they saw that they were still in the same place but with the passage of time, the floor and other elements of the room began to move and change, generating multiple sensations in the attendees, although, something shared the majority, and is that it seemed very real despite knowing that it was not.
