The San Valero Group is a group of reference wineries in Aragon, created in 1944. It is located in the heart of one of the most outstanding appellations of origin in Spain for its special terrain and microclimates. Its continuous growth has led them to be present in more than 20 countries with its wide range of reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines.

Create an Augmented Reality Hyperexperience that turns Legado and Gala Placidia bottles into unforgettable experiences for the consumer.

A different concept

With the incorporation of the Bodega Tierra de Cubas, the Bodegas San Valero Group opened a new stage in its two thousand years of history in which the production of signature wines and cava became more important. In this new phase, the winery wanted to combine art and technology to produce two signature wines: Gala Placidia and El Legado de Gala Placidia. A tribute to women and the values they represent, resulting in two creations of exceptional quality.

On the occasion of the official presentation of the two new signature wines, Grupo Bodegas San Valero wanted to reflect its modern and innovative character by the hand of DeuSens. In this way and for an occasion as special as this, we designed a completely custom-made application whose operation is very simple: when you start it, the device's camera opens with which you should focus on the back of either of the two new bottles to start the Hiperexperiencia.

Augmented Hyperexperience

When pointing to the label on the bottle that served as a marker, users saw the original labeling fade giving way to Gala, the Roman empress herself, who was in charge of telling her brewing story through an epic and impactful speech, created to thrill.

Bodegas San Valero managed to transmit the properties that characterized its two new elaborations in a memorable way, establishing a much more personal connection with its customers thanks to Augmented Reality technology.

The possibilities of the application went much further, since, in the same way that happened with Gala, the hosts of any event could create and transmit their own personal message in Augmented Reality. In this way, Bodegas San Valero turned its two new varieties of wine into unforgettable experiences, making them the perfect complement for events such as weddings or communions or even for corporate events. Through Virtual Reality and the use of its wine, Bodegas San Valero gave its clients the possibility to interact in a totally innovative way with the attendees, turning each event into an experience difficult to forget.
