4Doctors is the leading online training platform in Spanish for healthcare professionals. It offers health professionals access to clinical cases, reports and medical guides, articles, even postgraduate courses and specialized courses, accredited by the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid, to keep up to date in their areas of specialization.

To make an innovative presentation of the company, as well as to introduce new interactive training formulas through Virtual Reality.

Virtual Reality for healthcare professionals

The uniqueness and adaptability of Virtual Reality make it a technology that adapts perfectly to multiple application needs. If you have known our VR projects, you will already know that we have demonstrated this by carrying out Hyperexperiences in multiple companies in all types of sectors.

And in this case, for the first time, 4Doctors asked us to apply Virtual Reality in the medical sector with the aim of providing new training possibilities to their students, more immersive, and with which they could "touch" and "feel" medical processes in a way that through a manual, a screen, or a video would be impossible.

How is medical training in Virtual Reality?

Through this Virtual Reality project we managed to convert the classic clinical cases of 4Doctors, accessible from the web on its online platform, into more immersive, interactive and interesting VR experiences for students.

This Hyperexperience allows health professionals to enter a virtual simulation that serves as a testing ground in which to train and practice certain medical processes and operations. All this with the advantages that by doing so in a virtual environment, this is free of any kind of danger, both for the medical professional himself and for the patient.

In addition, in medicine theory is necessary but it is essential to move from theory to practice. This is another of the problems that this Hyperexperience solves, allowing students and healthcare professionals who need to update, not only to see the theory through immersive clinical cases, directly within the virtual environment generated, but also to go into practice immediately after through simple gamified practical tests, thus getting to better settle the knowledge acquired.

Medicine today, like many other sectors and fields, is constantly evolving and changing in the face of technological advances and innovations that arise year after year. This is how new ways of solving problems arise in a more optimal way than before.
