Virtual Showroom, the evolution of e-commerce

AFYDAD created the Spain Is Sport brand as an umbrella under which to bring together all its associated brands and offer them extra visibility by getting them all to join forces to promote the Spain brand and the national sports industry. Faced with the launch of this new brand, they did not want to be conservative and decided to bet on innovation as their greatest ally to get that extra visibility so desired for their brands.

This is how they relied on DeuSens Hyperexperience to do something different through the online channel and enhance the sales capacity of their associated brands. For this reason, we were in charge of creating this virtual showroom, a space created 100% by 3D modeling, in which users could freely visit the rooms of the different associated brands, decorated and dressed with their corporate image. In turn, the brands had full control of their room, being able to exhibit their products, play corporate videos and even make online sales.

The technological innovation at the service of the brands

The creation of this virtual showroom was made with the idea that it would be a functional space, getting that, besides being a new online showcase for brands, it could also generate other benefits and additional advantages that would make it more attractive. This is how we decided to put into operation all our knowledge and technological capacity to create a virtual showroom that would not only be visually attractive, but would allow brands to interact with potential customers and close sales from the showroom itself.

In this way we can highlight that its most interesting functionality was to be able to connect the virtual showroom with the website of the brands, making that from each of the rooms, the user could access the online store of the brand through a pop-up window, being able to make online purchases by being also connected to the payment gateway of each website.

Brands also had the possibility of uploading videos on their living room screen or uploading files, such as PDFs with product information. Finally, another interesting functionality consisted of giving users access to a contact button, which was located in each of the rooms and automatically generated an email that was sent to the specific brand in the room they were in.

Best of all is that, despite having all these features, no external download was required, so users only needed an Internet connection to access the virtual showroom. This also made the virtual showroom accessible to any user both from computers, tablets and smartphones, making it even easier for brands to reach potential customers.

Creation of photorealistic virtual spaces

In terms of aesthetics, we must emphasize that the virtual space generated had a hyper-realistic visual quality. This was achieved thanks to the careful 3D modeling process of the rooms, products, furniture and decoration, and the subsequent rendering that was done at 8K resolution, with the aim of providing that greater number of pixels that causes that photorealistic effect that we were looking for.

Without a doubt, the creation of interactive virtual spaces, such as this virtual showroom, has become a trend that companies and brands value very positively as it has become a tool with enormous potential and generates outstanding results. We can consider it as one of the best ways to show products to the public through the online channel, being a novel, different and disruptive way that moves away from the standards of traditional e-commerce.

Breaking this mold we can create virtualized sales spaces that surprise the customer and allow him to live a more human experience, more natural, and much closer to the one he would have in a physical store.
