When lighting meets technology

In its quest for innovation, ELT is present at the most important trade fairs in the sector, including Light+Building.
In the 2018 edition, under the slogan 'When lighting meets technology', the Spanish multinational wanted to enrich the visual experience of the attendees in a striking way, complementing the real environment with digital objects.

Visitors were able to live a Hyper-experience in which Augmented Reality was the great protagonist. We created an application, available only for ELT commercials, which provided them with a tool to support and enhance their exhibitions, creating a WOW effect among the attendees and showing that not only is a technological and innovative company in its products, but also extends this philosophy to its way of communicating.

Gigantographies as markers

At the stand, 5 gigantographies were installed that reproduced different areas of application of the components designed and manufactured by the company: exteriors, interiors, horticultural areas, stadiums...

By focusing these gigantographs with a Tablet they acted as Augmented Reality markers, bringing the gigantographs to life and allowing the intensity of the lighting present in each of them to be switched on, switched off and modulated.

3D Viewer

Two of the designed gigantographies had a special surprise for the visitors. These, when focused with the tablet provided in the stand, activated a 3D viewer, thus facilitating the explanation of the internal components of the lighting products.

To know the products and observe in detail all its components became a simple task since the App allowed the disaggregation, one by one, of all of them; as well as their rotation being able to study them in detail from different angles.

In the area of the stand dedicated to the exhibition of physical products, the floor was the one that acted as AR marker, with two different signs, one for the products of its Indoor line and another for Outdoor.

When focusing on these markers, a computer hologram could be observed that showed, in a very visual way, a table with the different ranges of products that make up each of its lines and the main characteristics of each of them.
