GOAL ACHIEVED
Introduce new technologies such as Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to attract young audiences and get them to attend the job fair.
A different kind of job search
Kühnel Business School held on April 27, 2016 the XI edition of the Kühnel Career and Postgraduate Fair. An event held in the Auditorium of Zaragoza, which brought together 43 companies interested in attracting talent. As is already customary in this type of events aimed at a young segment of the population, the organizers wanted to use technology as a differentiating factor.
In this framework, Künhel decided to count on Hiperexperiencia to introduce Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in the job fair. In this way, we used Augmented Reality to recreate the floor plan of the venue in 3D and Virtual Reality to make the attendees feel, in their own flesh, what it meant to train at Kühnel.
Fair floor plan with Augmented Reality
On arrival, visitors received a paper map of the Zaragoza Auditorium, where the job fair was being held. From here the Hyperexperience began, since, through the Künhel app, attendees could see the map of the venue in 3D.
The process was as simple as placing the smartphone on the map, and using the camera to detect the marker on the paper map. Subsequently, thanks to Augmented Reality, the construction of the building was recreated, displaying the walls, rooms and stands in 3D, in great detail. A very useful functionality to be able to orientate better and locate more quickly the different places of the enclosure.
Virtual Reality for Samsung Gear VR
In addition to creating a 3D map of the venue, Kühnel had the need to tangibilize what it meant to be trained in their classrooms, showing their work and learning methodology as well as the advantages and experience of their trainings.
For this reason and to achieve this, we also developed a Virtual Reality Hyperexperience that aimed to simulate the journey that their customers made since they entered as students, until they left and found the job they dreamed of having. This is how, by putting on a Samsung Gear VR users could live their future, "From the classroom to the workplace": they would study at Kühnel and become part of a large company.
