Technological innovation has a prize
At Relax they ended 2018 in style, being awarded the Bronze Prize in the "Furniture Design" contest organized by the Zaragoza Furniture Fair - FMZ 2018.
This recognition was awarded in the category of "Innovation in rest" to the "TECNUM" project, a unique technological solution for rest. The person in charge of presenting the "TECNUM" project was its marketing director, Pedro Orúe, who bet on using DeuSens' Augmented Reality to explain the ins and outs of this new technology for rest.
Presentation of products with Augmented Reality
What did the Hyperexperience consist of? Through an Augmented Reality application we recreated and animated faithfully in 3D the brand's products, with the aim that, using only a Smartphone or Tablet, anyone could visualize them both at the point of sale and in their own homes.
The solution also allowed users to visualize the components of each mattress and learn more in depth about the technical characteristics, size, materials, the technology incorporated, etc. But the highlight came with a simulation showing how the product behaved depending on the person using it and the different types of body morphology.
Simplifying complex processes thanks to technology
Undoubtedly, the greatest innovation of this Hyperexperience and one of its great virtues was being able to show the inside of the products , being able to appreciate the detail of those aspects that could not be seen with the naked eye. Using traditional methods, there were great difficulties to show certain features, processes or innovations, but by applying technological innovation, we were able to unravel any product, showing all its secrets thanks to Augmented Reality.
Innovation, nowadays, usually involves the development of new technologies or new processes patented by brands. These innovations are the intricacies of new products that bring new values and experiences to customers. Therefore, they are not visible to the naked eye, but are latently present in the final result. Augmented Reality can play a leading role in this aspect, being the perfect way to show what the eye does not see, to read the world between the lines.
