What was the Hyperexperience about?
In July 2020, we carried out our first Online Event, holding Base's annual conference. It consisted of a collective computer experience in which a multitude of people were able to participate and interact using virtual avatars within a 3D world. Through this gamification technology, we were able to generate a virtual representation of the real world, being able to replicate all the information and interaction that our participants could receive in a physical event and managing to reduce costs and provide great creative possibilities, both for the participating brands and companies, as well as for the attendees of the event. Under the slogan "we are one, we are strong, we are digital" Base, DeuSens and HMY joined forces to transform a traditional annual convention into a successful online event.
Thus, from June 19 to 21, we brought together 400 people, each with their own fully customizable avatar, in a virtual space where they could enjoy eight conferences and a round table, and interact with all other attendees as if it were a face-to-face event. During the three days of the convention, more than 30,000 interactions were generated and attendees participated in 450 meetings. The virtual space also had the representation of 31 sports brands, all of them with their own stand, fully customized with their image and corporate elements as if it were a real stand.

The best of the physical world in a virtual world
One of the great advantages we discovered with this online event is the unlimited ability to customize to order the entire staging. This was possible because the entire environment was built and planned according to the specific needs of the client. For this reason, our online event tool was able to provide the client with infinite possibilities of customization being a tremendously relevant feature for big brands looking for the maximum possible impact, allowing them to create everything they are able to imagine for their online event.
Another fundamental aspect was the user experience, which we managed to make as close as possible to the experience they could feel in a face-to-face event. Within the 3D world, each attendee managed their own character, fully customizable, being able to move freely, interact with any other person talking through voice chat, access the different spaces, interact with the stands of different brands and companies, and enjoy all the activities that took place at the event.
There are no borders in the virtual world
This Hyperexperience opened a new world of possibilities to all those companies that wanted to continue holding their corporate events at a time when it was impossible to hold them in a face-to-face format, providing extra security and comfort by connecting each attendee from their own home, but also without losing the interaction, impact and direct feedback of traditional face-to-face events. As in a physical event, but through a computer screen, in an accessible and simple way, since the tool was created to be able to perform any action with a simple mouse click.
In addition, this innovative technological solution managed to strengthen international relations by breaking all borders and physical barriers, allowing people to connect with each other, in a common virtual space, from anywhere in the world. Bringing together customers, suppliers, collaborators and prescribers in a customized virtual world and making them live a Hyperexperience, no matter where they are, was possible thanks to innovation and technological knowledge applied to a common cause. Undoubtedly, online events are here to stay, revolutionizing the business event landscape of the 21st century.
